Last Thursday, I was visited by Julikko, a member of FPN. He had come to take a look at the new line of True Writer pens, and to test out a Circa notebook.
The free notebook promotion, link to DiyP, has been a hit.
[...] It’s a unique method for allowing customers to experiment with the notebooks first-hand. Of course, we hope the sample sparks a series of creative ideas for how the system can be personalized for each user (which eventually leads to selling more pockets, dividers, etc.) For anyone simply curious about Circa, it is a pretty compelling promotion[....]The custom part of the notebook is where we ask questions, and build a unique book based upon the kind of pages and accessories the customer is most interested in trying.
I had mentioned this promotion a few times at DiyPlanner.com and most recently in an interview with Duc Ly in Second Life. [link]
It was excellent to get the opportunity to make a custom notebook for Julikko. It’s actually pretty exciting on the other side of the Circa Bar. The customer gets an opportunity to put together a completely custom notebook, while at the same time we also learn a great deal about common frustrations and creative organizational methods from the interactive experience.
